Over the last 3 years, the Urban Transports Community of the MedProgramme that is now led by MedCities, developed and tested innovative solutions in the most fast changing fields of Sustainable Mobility : Soft Mobility, Shared Mobility, the use of Big Data for smart traffic management, mobility solutions in tourist areas & new approaches to mobility planning

The Community’s Pioneer Cities are now making their expertise and experience available for other Mediterranean Cities to adapt the success factors and key enablers thanks to expert-based and taylored support. City council representatives and mobility operators from the Mediterranean area are invited to apply for a unique opportunity to design and adapt innovative solutions to solve priority mobility issues in their city. 

What is this call about ?

Assisted by dedicated mentors, the successful candidates will engage in an exclusive dialogue with a select group of cities who pioneered sustainable urban mobility solutions. Bilateral meetings, visiting studies, expert-based accompaniement and taylored reports on adaptation measures are part of the mentoring program.

How to participate

The Call for Sustainable Urban Transport Implementing Cities will remain open to applications until 15th December 2020. To apply, candidates must fill in the application form and submit a motivation letter (template here). In case the applicant is not a Municipality, Metropolitan Area or a Region it has to provide a letter of support from the Municipality of its area duly signed by its legal representative jointly to the application form.
