An official delegation from the Government of Catalonia, led by the Regional Minister for Foreign Action and European Union Mrs. Meritxell Serrat i Aleu, visited the Municipality of M’Saken, accompanied by MedCities General Secretary, Mr. Josep Canals Molina, on 7th June.

M’Saken, as MedCities member, has received in the last years the financial support of the Catalan agency for development cooperation, in order to implement youth policies and actions. The delegation had the opportunity to discuss with the beneficiaries on the Catalan-funded projects, especially with the representatives of the M’Saken youth council and those of the Municipality, and to visit the Municipal co-working space M’Corner, the first co-working in Tunisia that is public and run by the Municipality in the framework of the EMPLOIMed project which was established for young entrepreneurs and students. The delegation had the opportunity to discuss the strategic priorities of M’Saken and the challenges around the mobilization of youth participation in local affairs.
