As part of the Interreg-Med InCircle project, the Tourism Agency of the Balearc Island, hand to hand with the municipality of Palma (member of MedCities network), have organized a set of stakeholder working groups with relevant stakeholders of the Balearic touristic sector. These meetings took place during the month of June, and were a big success in terms of stakeholders from different points of the Balearic tourism sector, and because of their active participation and discussion regarding the future of the sector in the Islands.

The outcomes of such working groups will be taken into account, together with other outputs of the InCircle project such as the assessment of the circularity of the territory, in order to draft a strategy of sustainable and circular tourism for the Balearic Islands. In addition, the municipality of Palma will draw a local action plan in line with the objectives set on the Balearic Islands strategy.
