In its will to help MedCities members in their continuous fight against covid-19 pandemic, MedCities and AMB collaborated with all four Turkish MedCities Members (Mersin, Izmir, Antalya and Gaziantep) in an awareness-raising campaign to lessen Covid19 spread.
This campaign aimed at sharing effective preventive measures to the population through the kids. With this objective, the municipalities designed a leaflet in which two drawn characters explained such measures in a kids-friendly language. Such leaflets were printed in Turkish and in Arabic to reach both Turkish population and Syrian refugees. The leaflets are now being distributed by the municipalities together with sanitary masks in public squares with high affluence of kids, and in neighbourhoods in which a high percentage of refugees life.
