The European Commission has published a call for proposals to support dialogue, political and economic research and studies of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. This call is open to the public authorities until June 16th.
The call consist of two lots :
Lot 1: Support to political research, studies and Euro-Mediterranean partnership dialogue
Lot 2: Support to economic research, studies and Euro-Mediterranean partnership dialogue
The budget is € 5m ( € 1M for lot 1 and € 4M for lot 2) . The maximum rate of co-financing is 80% of the total eligible costs. Among the eligible actions can be mentioned the following :
Actions should benefit the neighboring countries of the South, and may take place at any of the 28 member States or in any of the countries of the Euro – Mediterranean Partnership.
In the framework of the Med4Waste project, more than 50 participants took part in the project’s seminar entitled “Towards sustainable models of local governance for integrated and circular policies for urban waste management" that took place in Mahdia.
MedCities participated in the ENSERES capitalization event in Tyre and had the opportunity to share the outcomes with member cities in a fruitful visit with different Lebanese representatives.
A two day training was organized with Irbid Municipality in order to exchange and learn about the fundamentals of energy audit, which were the lessons learned from Irbid municipality when auditing their municipal buildings.
