We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd ProcuraMED international workshop “How Strategic Procurement Can Drive the Activation of Innovative Circular Value Chains”, to be held on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, in Narni, from 10:00 to 13:00 CET.
This workshop will focus on the role of strategic procurement in activating innovative circular value chains. We will explore policy frameworks at the European level and successful practical examples in key sectors such as textiles, plastic waste, organic waste management, etc. These examples will be analysed through key cross-cutting themes, including innovation and stakeholder engagement.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a parallel discussion group to assess the conditions for implementing, adapting and replicating these approaches in different contexts. The event aims to foster dialogue between policy makers, industry experts, and stakeholders involved in Public Procurement Innovation (PPI) and Green Public Procurement (GPP) and to create a space for knowledge exchange. By facilitating these discussions, the workshop will contribute to strengthening policy frameworks at the European level while promoting best practices across the Mediterranean region.
