Since January 2024, 19 thematic projects under the Green Living Areas (GLA) mission of the Interreg Euro-MED programme have been working towards improving the sustainability of territories and enhancing the quality of life across the Euro-Mediterranean region, with new projects set to join. These projects support local and regional authorities in their green transition, with
strategic guidance from two governance projects:
– Community4Living Areas (C4LA) focuses on fostering collaboration among thematic projects, creating synergies, and amplifying project results to maximize impact. C4LA also facilitates cross-fertilization with other EU programmes working towards similar goals.
– Dialogue4Living Areas (D4LA) enhances policy transfer by promoting dialogue among policymakers and public stakeholders, driving continuous policy improvement and transformation.
The event will be structured over two days:
Day 1 will feature the GLA Forum, co-creation workshops, and a
community-building social event, providing a space for exchange, reflection, and strengthening synergies among projects.
Day 2 will focus on practical tools and capacity building, including a session on the GLA Mission Catalogue of Services, training sessions to facilitate the transfer phase of thematic projects, and working group discussions to share best practices and address common challenges.
