The ProcuraMED project

Every year, more than 250,000 public authorities in the EU allocate approximately 14% of GDP – around €2 trillion per year – to the procurement of services, works and supplies. In sectors such as energy, transport, waste management, social protection and health or education services, public administrations act as the main buyers.

In this context, the ProcuraMED project promotes the transition towards more competitive, innovative, sustainable and resilient ecosystems in the Mediterranean. The aim is to strengthen the innovation capacity of companies and local authorities, encouraging the adoption of advanced green technologies through innovative public procurement (IPP) and green public procurement (CPV) strategies.

Information Day and thematic sessions

This conference aims to make the main stakeholders – local administrations and companies – aware of the objectives, tools and benefits of the ProcuraMED project, thus promoting the integration of sustainable procurement practices in line with European regulations and standards..
