As part of the TT-Emploi project, implemented by the Municipality of Tetouan and the Municipality of Tangier, and funded by the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD), we have launched a training course in sewing and soft skills. This initiative carried out in partnership with the Al Amal Women’s Association and the Al Amal Training Center in Boujarah, aims to support young people who are unemployed in the city of Tetouan.

By offering them practical skills in sewing, the project seeks to open employment prospects for the 40 young participants in a booming sector in the city. At the same time, the modules on soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and time management, aim to strengthen their employability and give them the tools they need to navigate the professional world effectively.

The course will also include a one-month internship in a local sewing company.

Combining technical skills and personal development will enable young people to better adapt to the demands of the job market. By strengthening their skills, the project aims to improve their employability, give beneficiaries self-confidence, and encourage them to pursue their professional aspirations. This initiative is part of our commitment to combat youth unemployment and promote social and economic integration.
