On the last 22nd and 23rd of March, the Steering committee of Medseaties was held in Villa Méditerranée, with the participation of the 12 partners of the project.
The objectives of the meeting were mainly focused on the capitalization on other relevant projects on the topic of Integrated Coastal Zone Managment (ICZM) and on the preparation of the Closing Conference in Aqaba (Jordan) on next May.
MedCities participated in the event as an associate partner, sharing its 25 years of experience in accompaining cities developing their own projects on coastal management.
The Urban Community of Al Fayhaa and the Municipality of Marseille, both MedCities members, participate in this project as partners.
MEDSEATIES is an s euromediterranean project dedicated to the Integrated Coastal Zone Managment (ICZM) that aims at contributing to the empowerment of Mediterranean local authorities and private stakeholders in the multi‐level decision‐making processes related to the management of coastal cities.
