The EMPLOIMed project, financed by the Catalan Agency for Cooperation to the Development, aims to establish a support service for employability and entrepreneurship in M’Saken and Chefchaouen, offering spaces for co-working, information, training opportunities and support for young people.

A series of meetings have been organised during the month of February between the municipalities’ team of M’Saken and Chefchaouen and the external consultants in charge of developing the guide in order to shape the methodology that will be implemented in order to assess the needs of the territories concerning youth employability and entrepreneurship.

In this sense, three different type of surveys have been developed targeting the youth population, the companies and other key stakeholders of the territory.

The results of these surveys will be then presented to the municipalities’ team and key local stakeholders in two physical events that will be organised during the month of March in M’Saken and Chefchaouen. The final aim of these meetings will be to shape and contribute to the development of the guide, which will include a first proposal of services and resources needed for the establishment of the support service.

In parallel, next 3rd of March an online exchange will be organised with the cities of Montpellier and Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona) in order to learn about their experiences in supporting youth employability and entrepreneurship.
