The Cities 4 Global Health website is an initiative led by Cities for Global Health and co-led by Metropolis and the Euro-Latin-American Alliance of Cooperation among Cities, AL-LAs. This is part of the Live Learning Experience: beyond the immediate response to the outbreak, developed by UCLG and supported by UN-Habitat and Metropolis.

Mersin (Turkey) is also combatting with COVID-19 as all the other cities all around the world. To this extent, the city council has taken certain measures to provide the well-being and health of their citizens. The city has been working for weeks in several themes. You can find here a brief report of what Mersin has done so far combatting with COVID-19.
Both, technical teams from the Secretariat and the presidency -Montpellier- met to build sinergies and explore ways of collaboration to be useful for the other Mediterranean network members.
Early on the second Annual Forum of the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” brought together Brussels Mission supporters, related projects’ partners and other key stakeholders. MedCities was present as BlueMissionMed partner.
Within the activities for improving the sustainable waste management system of the municipalities of the Greater Tunis, the EU-funded A’SIMA Tunis project, implemented by MedCities, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), and Tunis Municipality, launched the feasibility studies and construction plans for the pilot project, consisting in a multipurpose eco-center for waste management.
