The Cities 4 Global Health website is an initiative led by Cities for Global Health and co-led by Metropolis and the Euro-Latin-American Alliance of Cooperation among Cities, AL-LAs. This is part of the Live Learning Experience: beyond the immediate response to the outbreak, developed by UCLG and supported by UN-Habitat and Metropolis.

The city of Barcelona has uploaded different documents and it has also dedicated a full space in its website where you can find all the necessary information about COVID19.

Barcelona City Hall has also dedicated a special space in its website to talk about measures. But also, the catalan city has added to the Cities 4 Global Health campaign. As the inhabitats are suffering a pandemic caused by a new virus that has especially serious effects for the chronically ill and the elderly and following the instructions of health authorities and in coordination with all administrations, the city is engaged in avoiding more contagions and in preserving the health system for those who need it most. To combat the coronavirus, Barcelona encourage everybody to stay at home and only go out when it is essential to do so, and always taking hygiene and safety precautions.
