MedCities organised an online workshop last 3rd of March where we invited the cities of Montpellier and Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona) to share their experiences in supporting youth employability and entrepreneurship. HIVE 12, an entrepreneurial hub and coworking space located in Sousse (Tunisia) also shared its experience.
The EMPLOIMed project, financed by the Catalan Agency for Cooperation to the Development, aims to establish a support service for employability and entrepreneurship in M’Saken and Chefchaouen, offering spaces for co-working, information, training opportunities and support for young people.
The aim of this workshop was to contribute to the diagnostic phase of the project, identifying good practices in Montpellier and Sant Feliu that could be inspiring and/or transferrable to the realities of M’Saken and Chefchaouen.

MedCities contributed to the debate, concretely in the round table about ‘Euro-Mediterranean Cooperative Responses to address climate change’. The 5th edition of the MedCatDays offered a space for meeting and dialogue, also for advocacy and visibility of the actors working in the basin.
Within the framework of the inter-municipal cooperation on waste management activity, that belongs to A’SIMA Tunis project component 2 “Metropolitan governance of valorized waste management and inter-municipal waste management”, the last workshop of the concertation was organized at Tunis municipality.
We closed the month of June with the Natural Heritage Mission in Rovinj, Croatia, with a mix of internal joint meetings and steering committees of the governance projects of the mission and the first in-person meeting with representatives of the 13 projects that currently integrate the community...
