The Urban Transports Community of the Interreg Med is preparing the activities of what will certainly be a very busy autumn.

Having adapted its plan to an online scenario, the project is foreseeing to organise a series of thematic seminars to present the most interesting and replicable solutions on Sustainable Mobility in the Mediterranean area, stay tuned for more information on topics and dates to come ! Just as a pre-tasting of it, MedCities will be holding a thematic seminar about Sustainable Mobility solutions for its members on 28th September (check the agenda!). The online session will be just for city members; register here.
 
Next autumn will also bring news in regards to the EU policy on transports, about which the partnership is calling all interested stakeholders across the Med area to join their voices (please contact lvinyes@amb.cat if you are interested to participate in the consultation). Timely enough, the partnership will participate at the EU leading events on sustainability and mobility (European Week of Cities and Regions, Urban Mobility Days, among others) to capitalise on available expertise and connect the givers and takers of sustainable mobility innovation across the Mediterranean.
 
One of the key topics that will be recurrent during the whole project, the integration of sustainable mobility solutions and tourism management, was the core of the webinar held 30th June bringing together the three European projects of Sustainable Tourism Community (Interreg Med), CIVITAS DESTINATIONS project (Horizon 2020) and the Urban Transports.
