On the 4^thof February, the team of MedCities met at the association’s headquarters, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, in order to participate in the team working day for the annual planning of the work.

The session started with a team building activity followed by an introduction of the annual planning in the framework of the Action Plan of the association for the years 2022-2023 and it followed with the summary of the past year, highlighting the challenges, priorities and opportunities for the next year.

After a short break, the team went through the evaluation of all the projects, analysing the challenges for each of them: A’SIMA Tunis, ValEUr Gabès, MED4WASTE, MAIS, Urban Transports Community, LaserMed, Mediterranean Biodiversity Protection Community, the new project financed by the Barcelona City Council, ENSERES, BLUEFASMA, INCIRCLE and EMPLOIMed.

In the end, the administration and finances tem introduced the main needs regarding the administrative and accountability management and proposed some advices and instructions for the amelioration of this department.

The session concluded with a summary of all the points and a short debate and the team members went to have lunch together.
