Back in November, the partnership of the Community for Living Areas met in Zagreb for a two-days meeting to plan the upcoming months of implementation of the project. The community for Living areas has as its main objective in its second year of implementation, to build a connected community of experts and implementers of solutions that will deal with green mobility, renewable energy, green territorial planning, climate finance and green community engagement. The community is currently constituted by 19 thematic projects and 2 governance projects.
Later in December, MedCities led the moderation of an online session of the working group on Green Mobility, with projects implementing solutions in the fields of logistics and food transportation, mobility hubs, public transport efficiency, or rural on-demand mobility. The discussion addressed joint initiatives and training needs, and will pave the way to the upcoming community gathering next year in May in Barcelona (Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau), dedicated to thematic projects and for which registrations will open in February!
