A new resource hub developed by MedCities promotes sustainable and strategic public procurement across the Mediterranean.

As part of the Euro-Mediterranean Strategic Procurement Coalition launched under the ProcuraMED project (Interreg Euro MED program), MedCities has developed a dedicated webpage on Green and Public Procurement for Innovation within its MedUrbanTools platform. This initiative strengthens knowledge sharing and supports cities in adopting more sustainable and innovative procurement practices.

MedUrbanTools is a Knowledge Sharing Platform on urban development in the Mediterranean, managed by MedCities. It provides a user-friendly and practical database combining technical resources, visual materials, and best practices to support urban analysis and inspire new initiatives across the region.

The platform is structured into three main sections—Cases, Voices, and Resources—each focusing on specific thematic content. Through its Toolbox, users can explore best practices from Mediterranean cities, expert video insights, and practical tools such as guidelines and instruments. Now, you can find the Policy Recommendations of the ProcuraMED project.

Within the framework of ProcuraMED, MedCities and its partners have compiled a comprehensive set of materials on green and innovative procurement, including 22 case studies, 6 expert contributions, and 9 practical tools, reinforcing international cooperation and capacity building across the region.
