NAWAMED&MEDWAYCAP: in Tunisia an international event exploring common challenges towards establishing a common Mediterranean Policy Framework to foster the use of Non-Conventional Water

***

The NAWAMED conference is intended to be a Mediterranean space for debate around three drivers with high potential impact on the valorisation of nonconventional water resources (NCWR). The first one is the important contribution that NCWR can make to mitigating the effect of climate change in urban areas and enabling the transition to green and sustainable cities. The second is the driving force of collective Action when it is multidisciplinary and oriented towards a common goal, and that ensures the engagement of everyone, which contributes with their know-how, experience, and expertise. The last is to mobilize the energy and creative force of young people into the development of innovative and sustainable ideas related to NCWR valorisation taking into account the available expertise.
