The A’SIMA Tunis project “Strategic planning and multilevel governance for a resilient metropolitan city”
aims to strengthen the urban and metropolitan sustainability of the city of Tunis through improved governance and national partnerships and international.
As part of the project, it is planned to improve the metropolitan governance of the management of municipal waste and strengthen resilience and environmental quality through pilot projects two working sessions for the benefit of the representatives of the Communes of Greater Tunis and the main actors involved in municipal solid waste management, with a dual objective:
– Drawing inspiration from the experience of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, around the sustainable management of waste including the treatment and development in an intermunicipal framework.
– Present the results discuss the orientations of the diagnosis on the sustainable management of waste, developed by the A’SIMA Tunis project.
The event will take place the 7th and 8th of March in the Kasbah of Tunis.
