A meeting with the Traders’ Association was held in Saida the last 8 October 2013, in order to include their perspective in the Saida UDS.
Within the framework of “Urban Sustainable Development Strategy” in Saida city, Saida Municipality in partnership with Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development conducted a meeting with the traders’ association on the vision of the city and the suggestions of effective and realistic projects and activities that can be implemented to reconcile and overcome the situation that Saida has passed through recently.
The meeting was held on Tuesday 8 Oct, 2013 from 12 pm till 1.30 pm in the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Saida and South, second floor.
The COP16 was a great occasion to showcase MedCities commitment to Global Biodiversity Framework Targets by sharing strategic alliances in which we are engaged as the Oceans Cities Network and the Ocean & Climate Platform and the advocacy we build together, governance projects as Mission 4 Nature and BlueMissionMed and their role in supporting EU biodiversity agendas
MedCities and Barcelona Provincial Council co-organised a second online workshop on exploring the social and solidarity economy as a tool for the social insertion of vulnerable populations and to boost green and circular economy projects.
Last 10th of October took place the 1st ProcuraMED international workshop in Brussels, with the aim to activate a mutual learning process based on exchange of expertise and knowledge transfer on green innovation in the MED area and public tendering opportunities in the Green Living Areas.
