The partners of the project from Fundación CIEDES and the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona met in Málaga in order to boost Best Practices identification.
On May 22nd, the KTC of Malaga and the project coordinator (Metropolitan Area of Barcelona), met in the headquarters of Fundacion CIEDES in Málaga in order to boost the protocols for Best Practices identification. In the meeting, the final version of the Best Practices criteria and the Best Practices Application Form were approved in order to foster the identification of projects and its presentation in the USUDS Platform in order to make the best of them as learning assets.
In the coming weeks, in coordination with the KTCs of Al Fayhaa and Sfax, the USUDS Platform will incorporate new projects as Best Practices, enlarging its catalogue. The USUDS Platform catalogue for Best Practices intends to be a source for cities developing their Strategies in order to learn from the initiatives undertook by other cities and implement.
This capitalisation report extracts key lessons from the project, identifying transferable elements that can benefit other Mediterranean cities. The TT-Emploi project, has been implemented in Tangier and Tetouan municipalities as a key initiative to strengthen interinstitutional cooperation to promote professional integration.
MedCities took active part of the launching event in Rabat of the UrbA-CliMa programme in Morrocco, led by GIZ. The programme will help the cities prepare the climate risk analysis and a coherent climate adaptation plans.
MedCities participated at the 19th Plenary Session of the PAM. Secretary General could meet Mrs. Suica, the 1st EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean, and the Roma City Coundil IIRR Director and Advisor to the Mayor.
