Next 6, 7 and 8th of April the final event on the management of urban and peri-urban agricultural areas will be held in the city of Rome

International conference will be dedicated to “Management of Urban and Peri-urban Agricultural Areas” and “Urban Gardens as a tool for Social Inclusion” with Market place, Capitalization, Peer review and Lessons learned and replicability in other Euro-Mediterranean cities as topics. 

Presentation of the pilot project and the Steering Committee Meeting will be, as well, a part of the event.

The aim of this project is to promote social and intercultural dialogue through cross-border cooperation in the realm of local Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture (UPA) related governance issues. The project intend to fight social exclusion and poverty through improving the governance process for local development by promoting social and peri-urban areas in the participating countries: Al-Balqa (Jordan), Rome (Italy), Mahdia (Tunisia) and Barcelona (Spain).
